Last Night @ Willie Stouts

Had fun last night at Willie Stouts. These pictures show some of the happenings as well as a glimpse at the new and improved changes to the pub. One highlight of the evening happened when Christina, who was with her sister and parents came up to sing Obladi Oblada by the Beatles (Her and her sister have a band called Fallen Angels). There's also a pic of Mike and me. Mike is a legit Irish pub entertainer....also...Andy celebrated his 30th birthday last night. Happy Birthday..the adventure continues...

Billy's New Pub

Billy's got a new name for his pub. It used to be the Phoenix & Firkin, now it is Willie Stouts...I love the new name. I will be performing there this Friday 9-1 at 2175 Sheppard Avenue East, North York. If you are in the downtown Toronto area on Saturday, come and visit me at the Wolf & Firkin (9-1) 43 Elm St Toronto...the adventure continues...

I'm Going To Jail

I had this video sent to me from a friend at KC McFly's. I tried to rotate it right side up but for some reason I always lose the audio...it's a mystery...
Well if you tilt your head sideways what you see is the end of the night performance at KC McFLY's taken to the streets of North York & Scarborough. Victoria Park divides these two municipalities, and so here we are crossing Victoria Park guitar and all. In the background is my drum machine...We led the folks outside to end a night that will not soon be forgotten... You can hear us chanting "Going To Jail" because we headed into the bar across the street..no harm intended since it was the end of the night...CHEERS!

50th Birthday Celebration

It was a great honour to perform at Vince's private 50th birthday party...aside from the fact that everyone was in participation mode...all I can tell you is that it was in his backyard somewhere in Oakville....CHEERS!

20 bucks for Matt

Finally got Matt to the stage @ Open Mic Tuesday's. He is now twenty dollars richer because of it (Invest it wisely, Matt)....the adventure continues...

Thanks Jules

Last night began as a very lonely night. Then a man named Jules entered the pub.. came to sit at the bar ...we then struck up a conversation. Then in came Two young men from New York, Larry & Phil were their names &. Jules bought them a round...Sabrina was at the bar ...then came a newly wed French couple...I kept playing and Jules kept up his friendly talk...they stayed....another 2 Bob & Cindy....they even danced a few numbers...then Frank, Nate and Larry from Connecticut....same thing... Jules made sure everyone was having a good time...so now the bar area is full but the rest of the pub is empty....eventually we had a decent size crown...I thank Jules for being the spark...

Moral Of The Story...don't write off an empty pub..sometimes a hidden spark and a good attitude can end up setting a night on fire..

Moral # 2 ....buy rounds...people happy...lol

20 Fingers & Counting

Last night turned out to be a special open mic night. Much of the action started at around 11 PM when the Great Christopher Hollow brought the "Blue" guitar. Nice sounds all around and I very much enjoyed jammin' with Alicia Porter...the adventure continues...

McFlyin' High

It was great to return to the mighty KC McFly's in Scarborough last night. The owner Tom treated me mighty fine and it was a nice surprise to see the 2 Brads show up. I enjoyed the interaction with the very loyal patrons and also the off-stage company of Tyler & Lindsay....the adventure continues...

Here we have the "Devil's Desperados" who have foresaken their former path of darkness to follow the lure of the Wolf - The Wolf and Firkin that is! They all come together to make the perfect saucy concoction of Tuesday night entertainment. Heirloom tomatoes, gourmet garlic, the next best selling author and a ghost writer- what a winning combination. Together they form the Spirit of the Wolf - in Devil's Clothing of course.
