Touche Cachet

If a picture is worth a thousand words then what about a song......or indeed three songs? Words and music were put to good use describing the attributes and antics of a trio of stars last night. Norm -the King of Clappers (the longest clap I have heard in my entire life!) , Jim (Go Jim Go!) the Mighty Marathon Man, and Howie - Howie Ever Got There I Don't Know!!
Bob & Guitar
Songs were written about all three of these stalwart gentlemen and the spell was cast. Drawn into this musical web - enter Bob and Pam. Mere seconds before they were longingly gazing through the window watching the hijinx.. With a few words and gestures of encouragement in they came and then......Look Out! The normally shy and reserved Bob was on fire! He spun his lady fair around the dance floor in a cloud of Fred Astaire inspired romance. A couple more in love I have not seen in many moons.

A thousand pictures could be posted of this night of merriment, but this one says it all.

Kudos to Cachet for providing an oasis of ambiance for all to enjoy.

Cachet

September 17 @ Cachet in Newmarket
I had fun up at Cachet in Newmarket on Saturday. I met some cool people (like the folks in the above picture). Later Richard & the gang showed up to keep me company, and tell me some wicked jokes...I will be performing at Cachet again next Friday & Saturday...the adventure continues...

BTW...Happy 13th Anniversary, Randy & Mandy.

Shel-B & C.O.D. Perform

With Shel-BWith C.O.D.
Since my last posting I have been performing at my regular Tuesday nights (Open Mic) @ the Wolf & Firkin & Thursday night shows at the Phoenix & Firkin. I am thankful to Billy for extending my stay at the Phoenix until October. Come visit! I also played more Spezzo dates, and a Badger show (where the famous Tara, was bartending). Triple CHEERS! to all.

I was ready to pack up my gear last night when a young lady named Shel-B came up to sing a few spontaneous songs. She sounded great, and we all appreciated her talent. Her music partner C.O.D. also came up and performed. I thank you both for shining light on the Open Mic.

Thanks Ren, for taking the above pics of Shel-B and C.O.D. Vera, you need a stage to showcase your off-the-wall sense of humour. Bruce, it was great to see you again, Gandie, as always....Cheers!, and Happy Birthday Sharon...

Also Ren...Congratulations on your Assistant Manager promotion....the adventure continues...
