Hydro Dave and his Orchestra
Last night at the Wolf & Firkin it was Sandra's birthday. Marg's group came out. I just discovered that Marg lives in Milton and since I played in Milton for the first time last week I found this entertaining.
I met 3 Daves last night...Manitoba Dave ( check out yesterday's first audio post )....Story Dave (works for Hydro...check out yesterday's second audio post about Stompin' Tom). I decided to post this picture with Hydro Dave, and some of his work associates. I had alot of fun singing about Hydro Dave. These things are always hard to explain the day after (you had to have been there I guess).
John, from New Jersey popped in at the end.

Who's Yo Daddy
This is a picture of Dave from the Phoenix & Firkin. Anytime he needed a drink he would ask for my microphone and say the words "Who's your Daddy" and a pint would be delivered to him (don't try this at home...lol). I would also like to thank Michael & Donna for speaking on the audio post.....Cheers!

Great Voice (Art Of Sales...Part 2)
Thank you Sarah for singing this..."And then a hero comes along With the strength to carry on And you cast your fears aside And you know you can survive So when you feel like hope is gone Look inside you and be strong And you'll finally see the truth That a hero lies in you"...the adventure continues......
AUGBLOG (The Week Ahead..and a yesterday glance)
The coming week should prove to be an interesting one, but before I discuss next week I wanted to mention that last night at the Phoenix & Firkin was fun. Thank you Michael & Donna ( Michael's wife), Carolyn, Diane , Steve and Donna ( not Michael's wife) for coming in to say hello. Kirk, it's always a blast having you come up and sing with me. Cheers! Michael took a great many pics and it was nice to meet the Curlers ( a curling team that was friendly...you know...I've never gone curling...I'm sure I'm missing something). Sophie, Zee and the gang were there hanging out. I'll be there again tonight.
Tuesday I will be doing my Open Mic Gig at the Wolf & Firkin. I always meet people from all over the world there, not to mention the talent that shows up.
Thursday is St. Patrick's Day. I'm doing a double header. I'll be performing at the Dickens & Firkin in Milton from 2-5 PM. After a quick tear down I will head east to play the Phoenix & Firkin. It's an 8 oclock start at the Phoenix and I play until 12. It was good of Billy to hire an Italian to play Irish Day. I've got the Wild Rover ready to go...No Nay Never...la la la la....
Friday & Saturday I head west to play the Fox & Fiddle in Mississauga (Enfield Place).
Cheers!

Ashley, Joe & Duncan Join Forces
The wildness started out with Joe not being able to play guitar so Duncan played the left hand and said "Just strum" to Joe. This created a nice sound.
Ashley decided she liked this new sound so she began to sing with great passion and conviction. Dave & Anne appear to like the sound as well. Thank you Ashley for getting the place rockin'. Duncan went up to sing and play a few tunes. It was great to see him and Anne again. Hello Dave and Lindsay. Gandie (not Ghandi) pops in at the end, but wishes to remain an enigma...so he shall...the adventure continues......

My Eyes Behind The Mic @ Baldwins in Aurora
Last night turned out to be an exceptional night, after starting out so tentatively. I felt bad about the double booking situation ( listen to yesterday's audio post ). It's always a lump in the throat experience when you drive in to play somewhere and you see people loading their gear in. It's not fun. The rule of thumb is always, whoever is posted on the wall, or marquee, plays the gig. Sometimes this works for you, not always. It's never a good thing, and thank God this only happens once in a blue moon. Cheers to Acoustica for being extremely nice about the situation....also Cheers to Cindy for the great participation....the adventure continues......

Thanks John K. Brown
These are a few photos that John Brown sent me from my Saturday gig at Spezzo. Thanks! I can't believe I'm getting actual "mail" that doesn't include bills. Thanks again John. I'm looking forward to playing at the Blue Moose tomorrow. It's always a mystery out there in Sutton.....the adventure continues......

Surprise Visit From Woodbridge
It was an interesting evening last night at The Wolf & Firkin. It started out with a visit from Debbie, Dan (North York), and Joe (London) doing the interacting thing. Kelly, Karen, John and Isaak (great rapping my man) were among the few nurses who popped in after their shift. The night began winding down when David Ellul shows up with his guitar. We start jamming, and the Angelos (from Woodbridge) appear out of nowhere. Angelo came up and did a few tunes with me. Michelle also showed up. Anton, Ashley and Sheree staffed the night, and Jim Semple popped in at the end...Cheers to everyone...the adventure continues.......
