Green Shirt Celebration Day
Last night I had a fun night at the Wolf. Texas Tony popped by, Wisconsin Dennis ( picture above) got people going. Mark, (picture below) the young man with the projecting voice, took the stage. I got to meet a group of four (Mike, Anne, Monica and Brian) good people who participated. On my break, Mike told me some great stories about the Red Lantern, on Merton in the seventies, and hanging out in Yorkville in the sixties. Somehow at the end of the day, I thought about the good fellow from Ireland with the green shirt. He had great spirit, and Gandie even said that he deserved a special mention. So I declare this day GREEN SHIRT CELEBRATION DAY! (special nod to Catherine's Laughing Sky)......the adventure continues.....

Summer Night In Sutton
I played at the Blue Moose in Sutton over the weekend. My good friend Linda showed up, and I told her that I absolutely required her DNA on my blog...She agreed....Cheers Linda!
Also, Larry Maclean showed up and sang a few tunes. It turns out that we have many mutual friends. Thanks for the magic, Larry....the adventure continues.....

From Woodbridge to Downtown Toronto
It was great to receive a welcome visit from the past. Last night a group of people who used to come hang out Tuesdays in Woodbridge appeared at the Wolf in downtown Toronto. Antonietta came on stage to sing Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love". Caroline sang Pat Benetar's "Hit Me With Your Best Shot". Sabrina and Ronnie also showed up, and I'm glad they did....I wish them all good luck in their lives.....the adventure continues.....
P.S. Thanks Joe, for taking the pics.

Canada Day!
Thanks to Kim, Mike (they're getting married soon), Jim and Barb. You guys kicked off my Canada Day Marathon in a major way, and set the party tone for everyone who came after you.
Rachael offered her left arm towards the good cheer celebration.
When the sun went down, we moved the party inside. These folks are celebrating Lucy's retirement from teaching. Dave refused to sit down throughout most of the show. Congratulations, Lucy!
Lucy came up to sing. She looks way too young to retire.
Many of you have seen the movie HUMAN STAIN. I'd like to offer the HUMAN MIC STAND (...i like cheese...)
When we all sang OH CANADA, I noticed a large voice wearing a blue shirt. Everyone coaxed him to hit the stage. What can I say....Matt rocked the room....Cheers to all.....Happy Canada Day.....the adventure continues....
